Former President Donald Trump, three of his children, and his company are being sued by New York Attorney General Letitia James.
An array of claims are made inside the filings, which were made public on Wednesday. James made the announcement the same day.
The lawsuit stems from a lengthy probe of Trump’s business practices.
“Today, we are filing a lawsuit against Donald Trump for violating the law as part of his efforts to general profits for himself, his family and his company,” James said in a press conference.
Among the claims laid out in the lawsuit- that the Trumps conducted numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation between 2011 and 2021. The result was an inflated net worth by billions for the Trumps.

“We are referring those criminal violations that we’ve uncovered to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York and the Internal Revenue Service,” James added during the press conference.
She’s asking the court to permanently bar the Trumps from serving as officer of a corporation in New York.
