On September 11 around 12:30 a.m. deputies responded to the area of Route 488 and Pettit Road for a personal injury crash.
Investigation determined that the operator of an SUV, identified as 19-year-old, John Johnson, of Shortsville was intoxicated.
Deputies said Johnson was charged with driving while intoxicated. Chloe Cook, 19, of Geneva, who was a passenger in the vehicle was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The charges will be answered in Manchester Town Court at a later date.
