The Syracuse Mets used a five-run sixth inning to defeat the Buffalo Bisons, 8-3, on Saturday night at NBT Bank Stadium.

Dominic Smith and Yolmer Sanchez each smacked two-run home runs. Deven Marrero, Francisco Alvarez, and Khalil Lee all had RBIs as well. Smith now has nine homers this season, while Sanchez has ten. Seven of the nine batters in the starting lineup recorded at least a hit.

Harol Gonzalez started on the mound and turned in one of his better outings of the season. The right-hander surrendered a pair of runs on three hits over five innings while walking two and striking out four.

Syracuse will try to split this six-game series on Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
