A Waterloo man was arrested following a fraud investigation.
According to a news release, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested David L. Brinson, 59, of Waterloo for offering a false instrument.
During the course of the welfare fraud investigation, Brinson was found to be in possession of a rifle. Due to a prior felony conviction, he was charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
Brinson was arraigned and held on no bail.
