Francisco Lindor crushed his 24th home run of the season. Daniel Vogelbach collected two hits and three RBIs. Mark Vientos recorded his first Major League hit and RBI, while Pete Alonso also plated a run.
Taijuan Walker will get the start in the second game of this four-game series on Friday at 7:10 p.m.
