Police say a Geneva man was charged following a sex offender registry violation.
LaQuan A. Whitfield, 32, of Geneva was arrested for a sex offender registry violation prior offense at the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigation revealed that Whitfield failed to update his new address in the NYS Sex Offender Registry within 10 days of moving.
This is Whitfield’s second conviction, as he was previously convicted in 2019 for a sex offender registry violation.
Whitfield will appear before the Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
