The Geneva Police Department provided more information on the vandalism that occurred at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center.
On Monday police responded to the welcome center for a reported criminal mischief complaint. Officers learned that extensive damage was caused to park benches, picnic tables, and other property.
The estimate of the damage is around $11,000. Through investigation, it was determined that two white females were in the area of the welcome center during the time of the crime.
Geneva PD is asking anyone who might recognize the two to contact their office as the investigation remains active.
