Local 83-year-old man charged with sexual abuse

An 83-year-old Allegany County man was arrested by Bath Police on sexual abuse charges.

Gerald Tyler, 83, of Bolivar, was arrested by the Bath Police Department on Monday, September 12.

Police say Tyler is a former resident of Cedar Street in the Village of Bath.

Tyler was charged with two counts of 1st-degree Sexual Abuse, both class D felonies.

WETM reports Tyler is scheduled to be arraigned by a Steuben County judge on Tuesday, September 13.
