Police arrested a Bath woman after allegedly attempting to attack a person at the Tops Market in the village over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Ashley Smith, 37, was arrested by police after officers responded to a disturbance at the Tops store on West Morris Street during the late-afternoon hours.
Smith tried to attack the victim, while also damaging and stealing property from another person. A child was present during the incident.
Smith was charged with felony robbery, as well as misdemeanor counts of attempted assault, criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
