The Syracuse Football team received some unfortunate news on Monday.
Head coach Dino Baber told reporters that fullback Chris Elmore and linebacker Stefon Thompson are both expected to miss the rest of the 2022 season after suffering injuries during Saturday’s 31-7 win over Louisville.
“Both of them will be hopefully coming back (next year),” Babers said. “Unless something happens later in the season, both will be redshirting this year.”
Elmore and Thompson were both seen on the sidelines with crutches after exiting the game.
