Police arrested a 38-year-old Rochester resident in the village of Penn Yan after a domestic incident on Sunday.
Around 9:22 p.m. officers arrested Matthew Bray, 38, of Rochester for criminal mischief.
The incident took place in front of the sheriff’s office, according to a news release. While police interviewed the involved parties, Bray struck a vehicle with his elbow in the presence of police causing damage to it.
He was taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date.
