The Rochester Red Wings fell to the Toledo Mud Hens, 6-3, on Sunday afternoon at Frontier Field. With the loss, Rochester dropped five of six in the series.
Daniel Ponce de Leon started on the hill for Rochester and allowed five runs over four innings while walking three and striking out four.
Francisco Perez surrendered the other run in relief. Connor Sadzeck, Reed Garrett, and Jordan Weems had scoreless outings.
Lucius Fox drove in the Red Wings’ first run of the game with an RBI single in the third inning. In the fifth, Andrew Stevenson smacked a two-run home run, his 14th of the season.
Rochester will get the day off on Monday before they open a six-game series with the Syracuse Mets on Tuesday at NBT Bank Stadium.
