In a few days the Green Street Garage will reopen in Ithaca.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be hosted by the City of Ithaca and Downtown Ithaca Alliance on September 6.
Acting Mayor Laura Lewis said she was excited about the reopening of the garage, which features 268 spaces for public use.
“As we continue to see the public returning to downtown restaurants, movies and Cinemapolis, and shopping, we are so excited to celebrate the opening of the Green Street Garage,” she said in a statement.
One floor will remain under construction for the time being. Once that’s complete – a total of 334 parking spaces will be in the rebuilt part of the garage.
