The town of Ovid is seeking a DEC permit to stabilize the south shore of Tommy Creek on South Townline Road.
The town has applied for a Clean Water Act water quality certificate for about 600 linear feet of the creek, which is a Class C stream.
The work would be done along South Townline Road near the border of Lodi, according to officials.
Tommy Creek is a tributary of Seneca Lake.
Public comment on the permit proposal are due by September 6, 2022.
