Syracuse rolls past Louisville in season opener (full coverage)

The Syracuse Orange football team rolled past the Louisville Cardinals, 31-7, in the season opener on Saturday night at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Junior quarterback Garrett Shrader shined as threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore running back Sean Tucker picked up right where he left off last season as he ran for 91 yards and a score. He also caught six passes for 85 yards.

We’re just days away from the 133rd season of Syracuse football.

The Orange will host the Louisville Cardinals in the season opener on Saturday at 8 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome. The game will be televised on the ACC Network.
