Police arrested an adolescent offender in Penn Yan following a domestic incident where a person was threatened with a knife.
Upon arrival, officers found a resident who was running toward them, stating that they were being chased by a person.
Police then located the busiest wielding a knife, who was taken into custody without incident.
The teen was charged with first-degree attempted assault and three counts of second-degree menacing.
No identifying information was shared about the suspect, who was said to be 17-years-old, according to police.
