Major League Baseball released its full 2023 schedule on Wednesday with some changes.
For the first time in MLB history, all 30 teams will face each other at least once. All 30 clubs will play on Opening Day, Jackie Robinson Day, Lou Gehrig Day, July 4, Roberto Clemente Day, and Game 162. Also, teams will face their division rivals 13 times rather than 19.
The New York Yankees will open the season with a three-game series at Yankee Stadium against the San Francisco Giants on March 30.
The New York Mets will open the season with a four-game series against the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park on March 30.
The first Subway Series matchups will take place on June 13 and 14 in Queens, then July 25 and 26 in the Bronx.
