The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they have traded offensive lineman Cody Ford to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick in 2023.
Ford, 25, was drafted by Buffalo in the second round of the 2019 draft. He is currently in the final year of his four-year, $7.5 million contract.
The guard played in 38 total games and started 29 since coming into the NFL. Ford saw the most action in 2019 when he started in 15 games at right tackle.
This move likely opens the door for Bobby Hart to make the 53-man roster. The final roster cut down is August 30.
