The Syracuse Mets fell to the Charlotte Knights, 10-8, in the series finale on Sunday evening at Truist Field. With the loss, Syracuse dropped four of six in the series.
Jordan Yamamoto started for the Mets and allowed six runs on seven hits over 2 2/3 innings while walking two and striking out five.
Daniel Palka crushed his 22nd home run of the season and notched four RBIs to lead the Syracuse offense. Gosuke Katoh drove in three runs, while Mark Vientos also chipped in with an RBI.
Syracuse will get the day off on Monday before they open a six-game series with the Worcester Red Sox on Tuesday night at NBT Bank Stadium.
