Police say they were called to the 100 block of Highland place for a report of a college-aged person who had fallen into the gorge.
Emergency personnel were able to stabilize and remove the person from the gorge, and transport them to a nearby trauma center.
Police say they are undergoing treatment and expected to survive.
The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, August 19. That’s when first responders were called to the scene.
