The week hasn’t started off the way the Mets and Yankees planned. The Mets have dealt with the injury bug in Atlanta taking on the Braves. With a flurry of roster movement, they were able to take the game last night. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans discuss what the past few days mean to the Mets and what the call-up of Brett Baty may mean for the line-up late in September. The Yankees have also made a flurry of roster moves, but for all different reasons. Struggling against Tampa Bay, things have come to a head, and top prospects Estevan Florial and Oswaldo Cabrera were called up. Paul and Kyle discuss whether the moves help shake things up and turn the ship back in a positive direction. The guys also look ahead to the weekend as both New York teams have big four-game series awaiting them.
Rochester and Syracuse have opened the week splitting the opening games with Worcester and Charlotte. Paul and Kyle talk about the teams with their rosters changing due to big league clubs, and what is making the difference between games in the past where this happened and now.
