Man charged after stealing moped from Brighton

Deputies arrested a Rochester man after report of a suspicious incident on August 16.

Evan D. Crittenden, 32, of Webster was charged with criminal possession of stolen property.

Police observed Crittenden operating a moped in Huron and conducted a traffic stop. Investigation revealed that the moped did not have a license plate and it was reported stolen out of Brighton.

Crittenden will appear before the Town of Huron Court at a later date.
