Deputies report the arrest of a Caledonia man after report of a disabled vehicle on Monday.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested David P. Werdein, 63, of Caledonia for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
Sheriff’s received report of a disabled vehicle on State Route 36 in the Town of Hornellsville. Upon investigation, it was determined Werdein crashed into a guard rail in Livingston County and left the scene. He was additionally charged with multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
Werdein will appear before the Hornellsville Town Court at a later date.
