Deadline approaching for applicants to succeed outgoing Dom Vedora as Geneva city supervisor

The City of Geneva is looking for applications to fill the Ward 1 and 2 supervisor role left vacant by Dom Vedora.

Vedora said earlier this month that he would resign, citing personal reasons for the move.

Anyone interested in serving the role, which will be selected by City Council, should send letters of intent and a resume to City City Clerk Lori Guinan at 47 Castle, Geneva, 14456.

The deadline for applications is August 31.

The term will expire in 2023, at which time an election will be held to find a permanent successor.
