Deputies say a Canandaigua man showed an axe in a threatening manner during an incident on Monday resulting in one arrest.
Lucas Jacobson, 41, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
The charges are the result of an investigation into a disturbance at Woodland Park Circle. He was found to have displayed an axe in a threatening manner.
He was also found to be in possession of metal knuckles.
