After a decade serving on the Ontario County Board of Supervisors Dom Vedora will resign effective September 1, 2022.
The Democrat, who has represented wards 1 and 2 in Geneva since 2012 announced his resignation in a press release.
He cited personal reasons for the move, which will leave the Geneva residents in those wards without a representative on the board.
But that should be short-lived. Geneva City Council will appoint a person to serve the remainder of his term.
Vedora’s current term ends in 2023.
