Paul Russo and Kyle Evans breakdown the Mets balanced attack through the weekend. It seemed when the offense was down the pitching was there, and the opposite when needed. The guys talk about why the Mets seem to have found the ideal recipe for the rest of the season. Paul and Kyle also talk about the incredible rebound of Edwin Diaz and how his warm-up music is now inspiring memes across the internet. The Yankees meanwhile struggled against the Cardinals. In what was a true test for the Bronx Bombers they didn’t show up. Paul and Kyle talk about the team and how over the course of the past few weeks have played below their potential. The guys also preview the series ahead for both teams.

Rochester dropped another series, and their losing streak has extended to 17 games. Paul and Kyle discuss what can be done at this point to turn it around. Syracuse dropped four of six games in Lehigh Valley but has been buoyed by Francisco Alvarez. The guys talk about his influence on the team since his call-up last month.
