The Rochester Red Wings suffered their 16th straight loss after falling, 3-1, to the Columbus Clippers on Saturday evening at Huntington Park.
The Red Wings plated the first run of the game in the top of the first on Jake Noll’s RBI single but after that, it was all Columbus.
Bo Naylor and Oscar Mercado homered for the Clippers.
Franklyn Kilome started for Rochester and allowed three runs (two earned) over 5 2/3 innings while walking two and striking out four. Alberto Baldonado and Matt Cronin had scoreless outings in relief.
Nick Banks collected two of the Red Wings’ six hits.
Rochester will try to snap their skid on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
