Rochester Red Wings drop 15th straight with loss to Columbus

The Rochester Red Wings dropped their 15th consecutive game with an 8-5 loss to the Columbus Clippers on Friday night at Huntington Park.

The Red Wings trailed 6-1 after three innings and could not erase the deficit despite making it a 6-5 game in the sixth. Columbus pulled away in the late innings for the victory.

Josh Nogowski provided most of the offense for the Red Wings as he smacked his third home run of the season and finished with a three-RBI night. C.J. Abrams and Andrew Stevenson also drove in runs.

Rochester will try to snap their skid on Saturday at 5:05 p.m.
