Deputies report the arrest of a homeless man following an investigation in the town of Sodus.
David Snyder, 21, was charged with first-degree sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges stem from allegations made by a juvenile female. Deputies said in a news release that Snyder sexually abused and engaged in sexual contact with the juvenile when she was less than 11 years old.
Snyder was taken to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
