A Bloomfield woman was arrested following a shoplifting incident at Walmart.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kayla J. Acevedo, 23, of Bloomfield for petit larceny.
It was discovered that Acevedo concealed store merchandise and under scanned items at the self checkout. She then passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The total value of the stolen merchandise amounted to $161.35.
Acevedo will answer the charges before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
