All members of Ontario & Wayne County Farm Bureau are invited to attend a “Meet the Candidate” forum. The joint County Farm Bureau event is scheduled for Friday, August 19 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Ontario County Fairgrounds Carriage Barn, 2820 Co. Rd. 10, Canandaigua, NY.
The evening will kick off at 6 PM with the Meet the Candidates forum. Candidates have been invited who are running for the 24th Congressional District, 54th State Senate District, as well as, the 130th, 131st and 133rd Assembly District.
The “Meet the Candidates” forum is an informal, unbiased event that will be useful to Farm Bureau members and fair to each candidate. Each candidate will be given equal time to address the attendees while participating in a question-and-answer session. Candidates will also have the opportunity to speak with Farm Bureau members and learn more about their day-to-day farming concerns.
A chicken barbecue dinner will be available for $10 per person which will include salt potatoes, coleslaw and rolls. Reservations for dinner required.
