Police say a Steuben County man was arrested on Saturday following a robbery investigation.
According to a news release, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Morgan T. Abeel, 18, of Urbana for assault, robbery, and grand larceny.
Officers received report of an assault and strong-arm robbery at a motel in Erwin. It is alleged that Abeel intentionally caused injury to a victim while stealing more than $1,000 from them.
Abeel was remanded to the jail and will answer charges at a later date.
