For the second consecutive week, New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge has been named the American League Player of the Week.
Judge hit .348 with a 1.483 OPS in his six games last week. He also belted five home runs, bringing his total up to 42.
This is Judge’s sixth career Player of the Week recognition.
Judge could also be named the American League Player of the Month for July after hitting .333/.446/.807 with a 1.253 OPS, 13 home runs, 32 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
