What products did she get at Dollar General?

This particular deal hunter found quite a few items on her recent Dollar General run:

  • a six-pack of Scott toilet paper
  • Febreze fabric spray
  • Air Wick oil warmer
  • two bottles of Stem insect repellant

The total for these items was $25.25 before coupons. Dollar General has an app, and you can clip the digital coupons before you go to pay. After the coupons were applied, she only paid $5.76.

Every Saturday, Dollar General offers a $5 coupon on purchases more than $25, plus brand-specific coupons. A $1 off any Scott toiletries coupon, brought the price of the toilet paper down from $2.75 to $1.75.

The two bottles of Stem insect repellant cost $14, but she had a $8.99 coupon that she used, bringing the price to $5. There were also Air Wick and Febreze coupons that allowed her to get each product for $2.
