92 years of family service come to an end Sunday

The popular neighborhood grocery store closes its doors for good Sunday, ending a 92-year run. Auburn City Clerk Chuck Mason says Maxwell’s quality and personal service will be missed.

With the recent passing of Gary “Scotty” Maxwell, Bobbie’s husband and Larry’s older brother, the remaining Maxwells decided it was time to call it quits. Maxwell’s will be open for their final day Sunday from 9-8.
