Bills sign offensive lineman Jordan Simmons to one-year contract

The Buffalo Bills have signed offensive lineman Jordan Simmons to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday before day two of training camp.

The move comes a day after Head Coach Sean McDermott told reporters that offensive lineman Roger Saffold was placed on the non-football injury list and will miss the start of training camp. According to McDermott, Saffold was in a car accident and injured some ribs.

Simmons, 28, has played in 25 games over his three-year NFL career. He spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Simmons will wear No. 61 with Buffalo.
