Man found with 30 bags of crack cocaine during traffic stop

A Clifton Springs man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in the village.

According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Victor S. Monge-Torres, 36, of Clifton Springs for criminal possession of a controlled substance.


During the traffic stop, Monge-Torres was found in possession of over thirty bags of suspected crack cocaine. He was also issued tickets for no front registration plate and no front bumper.

Monges-Torres will appear to the Village of Clifton Springs Court at a later date.
