Although Black Friday deals may be a few months away, it’s not too early to start planning.

Here is all you need to know to prepare for Walmart’s Black Friday deals this year.

Dollar General: The staple in small towns throughout America. Are they harmful or helpful, and why is there another Dollar General for the “wealthy”?

When is Black Friday this year?

This year, Black Friday lands on November 25, 2022. Black Friday always falls on the day after Thanksgiving, but many retailers will start sales before the holiday. Walmart starts sales in November, if not earlier so be sure to keep an eye out.

Many customers were concerned that Walmart wouldn’t take part in Black Friday after they decided not to run their Deals for Days sale in early July. However, Walmart has announced that “Black Friday returns in 2022.”

What should I expect?

Walmart always offers deals on a wide variety of products during the Black Friday sale. Expect to see discounts on electronics, toys, video games, fashion, beauty, tools, and more.

Be sure to look for deals through Walmart on Cyber Monday too– but keep in mind lots of items tend to be out of stock by that point.

If you’re looking to get early access to the deals, consider signing up for Walmart+. Members get early access to all the deals throughout the season and free shipping. Membership costs $12.95 a month or $98 for the year.

If you are looking to shop in-person on Black Friday for deals– last year Walmart opened at 5am and stayed open until 11pm.
