A Steuben County woman was sentenced after being found guilty of striking-and-killing a 66-year-old Bath man while driving drunk three years ago.
It happened in the town of Bath when 48-year-old Tonia Smith, of Painted Post was driving under the influence on State Route 415.
Her car struck the 66-year-old, leaving him dead.
Smith was sentenced to 4-12 years in prison for a felony manslaughter conviction. She was also sentenced to 1-3 years for the reckless endangerment conviction.
Her blood alcohol content at the time of the crash was over 0.18%.
