The 178th Seneca County Fair opens Wednesday night at the fairgrounds in Waterloo.
Taste the best of New York food and drink in Floral Hall
Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension will host their opening night reception in Floral Hall from 5-7 p.m. Nutrition Educator Candace Riegel joined us in-studio Tuesday for Inside the FLX, saying if you stop by, you can sample a cornucopia of New York foods, showcasing CCE’s nutrition programs, including Farm to School and SNAP-ED.
4-H exhibits on display in Floral Hall
The recipes will be available so you can recreate them at home! Also, spend some time viewing the 4-H projects submitted by local 4-Hers and learn more about all that Seneca CCE has to offer in its mission areas of agriculture; nutrition; youth and families; home horticulture; natural resources and climate change; and community and economic vitality from displays and Seneca County staff. There will be something for everyone!
The event is open to the public, there is no charge and no registration is needed. From Floral Hall visitors can head on out to all that the Fair has to offer including animal displays, carnival rides, and food, and the opening night Demolition Derby.
