The Odessa-Montour school board gave the green light to moving away from its longtime mascot.
Like many other schools in the region with Native mascots- Odessa-Montour will now be the Grizzlies.
For sports that are combined with Watkins Glen- they will assume the name of ‘Schuyler Storm’.
An official vote on the matter will take place at the board’s next meeting.
