Host Ted Baker is joined in studio by Mo Tidball and Candace Riegel of the Seneca County Cooperative Extension. Ted and Mo discuss the renewal of the Farm to School program. According to the CCE website, the Farm to School program “connects schools with local farms and food producers to strengthen local agriculture, improve student health, and promote regional food systems awareness”. All four school districts in Seneca County were awarded grants.
Ted and Mo also discuss the upcoming Seneca County Fair and what role the CCE will play in it. The fair begins on Wednesday, July 20th at the Seneca County Fairgrounds in Waterloo.
