Cost to taxpayers less than $11 million

The total cost of the projects is $58,621,921. Over $47 million of that cost will be paid with federal and state funds, through the sale of equipment, and with reserve funds. $5,440,000 has been set aside for the county’s broadband rollout through the US Department of Agriculture’s ReConnect program.
