The New York Yankees cruised past the Boston Red Sox, 14-1, on Saturday night at Yankee Stadium.
Jameson Taillon started on the mound for New York and tossed six innings of one-run ball while allowing just two hits and striking out five.
Matt Carpenter and Aaron Judge each homered twice for the Yankees. Josh Donaldson and Isiah Kiner-Falefa also collected RBIs. Carpenter hit a pair of three-run home runs while Judge hit a solo shot and a two-run homer.
Ryan Weber did an excellent job in relief as he fired three shutout innings.
The Yankees will try to take two of the three from the Red Sox on Sunday afternoon before the All-Star break starts. The first pitch is set for 1:05 p.m.
