Some of the 18,000+ who attended the Morgan Wallen concert at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview have spotted some mysterious charges on their credit cards.
ASM manages the Amphitheater. They told NewsChannel 9 that some customers at merchandise tents or concession stands were charged multiple times for a single transaction.
They blamed the internet service, which was apparently bogged down at the sold out show.

However, some other concertgoers reported thousands in fraudulent charges. Others even reported having their credit cards shut down due to fraud detection after the show.
Experts actually suggest using credit cards, instead of debit cards, at events like this because they offer better fraud protection.
As for the overall takeaway: It doesn’t appear as though ASM will be taking any widespread action after the ordeal, so concertgoers will be on their own to handle it on a case-by-case basis.
