One year later Williamson man faces DWI charge after roadside investigation

Deputies report the arrest of a Williamson man following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle complaint last summer.

According to a news release, the incident occurred in July 2021, but resulted in the arrest of Dakota Paul, 29, of Williamson this week.

He is accused of operating a vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Deputies say he was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, and driving with a BAC over 0.08%.

According to the release, Paul had a BAC of 0.22%.

He was issued appearance tickets to answer the charges at a later date in local court.
