The Buffalo Sabres have tendered qualifying offers to the following restricted free agents: Forwards Victor Olofsson, Arttu Ruotsalainen, and Brett Murray as well as goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.
Olofsson scored 20 goals for the second time in his career last season. He notched a career-high 49 points (20+29) in 72 games.
Ruotsalainen skated in 18 NHL games last season, recording four points. He posted 51 points (18+33) in 57 games for the Rochester Americans and added 12 points (8+4) in 10 playoff games.
Murray also split time between Buffalo and Rochester last season. In 19 games with the Sabres, he recorded his first career points, putting up two goals and four assists over 19 games. In Rochester, he finished the season with a career-high 32 points (15+17) through 52 games.
Luukkonen saw action in nine NHL games in 2021-22. He went 2-5-2 with a .917 save percentage and a 2.74 goals-against average. He played 35 games for Rochester, going 15-14-6 with a .900 save percentage and a 3.28 goals-against average.
