Max Lagace will be returning to the Syracuse Crunch for the 2022-23 season.
The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Monday that they have re-signed the goaltender to a one-year, two-way contract.
Lagace spent most of last season with the Syracuse Crunch, but he did appear in two games with Tampa Bay, going 1-1-0. In 36 games with Syracuse, he posted a 23-9-2 record with a 2.31 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage to go along with four shutouts. He also played in five Calder Cup Playoff games and recorded a 2.57 GAA and a .911 save percentage.
The 29-year-old originally signed a contract with the Lightning on July 28, 2021.
