The Town of Seneca Falls could finally have a town manager.
After years of debate and months of work by members of the Town Board, an agenda item for Tuesday’s meeting indicates a candidate may be voted on.
Money for the position isn’t available in this year’s budget, but would be available in next years. That said, funds could be taken from a reserve fund to pay for the position if the board approved hiring.
The Town Board has now been through two search processes.
The board’s July meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the municipal building on Ovid Street.
